From Curuxa

If you are using a Linux distribution other than Debian, Ubuntu or a derived one, you can still install Curuxa manually. This is not recommended, but the steps are very simple to follow:

Install the following packages using your distribution package manager:

  1. Download Curuxa standalone package: zip, tar.bz2
  2. Uncompress it wherever you want
  3. Edit the Bash Scripts inside the "scripts" directory replacing [CURUXA_INSTALLATION_PATH] by the path to the folder you've just uncompressed
  4. Copy the files inside the "scripts" directory to /usr/local/bin
  5. Execute "curuxa"
